Rider Bio
Shenae is a 4* international event rider, based in Werombi NSW. She has competed at all the International events in Australia, including Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Wooroloo (Perth) 3 day events with many successful wins and placings. In 2022, Shenae was selected to represent Australia at the World Equestrian Games, held in Pratoni Italy where she finished as the second highest placed Australian rider. Shenae has been selected on 4 Australian teams. She is also selected to represent Australia at the Oceania Championships held in Hastings New Zealand in March 2023. Most recently, Shenae was a member of the winning Australian team in the CCIO3*L, securing the Australian Eventing team’s place for the Paris Olympics, 2024.
Career
Shenae runs a Breaking and Pre-Training facility for Thoroughbreds alongside her partner Sam Woods. She also educates client horses of any level and competes a team of her own and client event horses. Shenae’s aim is to compete in the 5* at Adelaide International 3 Day Event in April on Bold Venture and then to head overseas and compete at some UK and European competitions.
