Rider Bio
Maggie Poloncic was born and raised in Gillette, WY competing in both barrel racing and ballet. She attended college at Colorado State University and moved back to Wyoming upon graduation. She began teaching dance and continued to do so through an accreditation program called Cechetti USA. Maggie continued training horses at this time in hopes of filling her WPRA Permit on horses she trained herself. She began strictly rodeoing and training horses in 2018 after leaving her job as a certified medical coder. Her ambitions include qualifying for the WNFR and developing her own breeding program.
Career
Maggie rodeoed on the amateur level until 2017, when she started competing on her main mount “Aint Seen Me Yet” at the professional level. Since, she has competed in several high level competitions on futurity, derby, open and professional rodeo horses, all of which she trained herself. She continues to compete professionally and train her own horses.

“Equilume has me looking forward to a less stressful breeding season and my horses are ready to perform year round! The Light Masks allow my mares to go about their normal routines in their normal environments all while preparing for the breeding season. I’ve seen several performance benefits as well: increased immunity, better eating and drinking habits during travel and weather changes, and better rest. My horses are happier, more focused and ready to perform.”
