Rider Bio

Camille was born into a horsey family in the centre of France in 1987. He is now based on the Normandy border, near Paris and produces sport horses in his home yard, competing across all of Europe. Camille began his eventing career starting with ponies and following the pathway up competing at juniors and young riders European Championships with his childhood horse Ventozien. At the age of 21, Camille entered the national riding school in Saumur for three years as a member of the Pôle France, a dedicated space for the young talented athletes. Following this education, Camille began his journey as a professional event rider.

Career

With more than twelve years riding at the top sport, he produced many horses from the beginning to the highest level. Camille’s first Badminton International 5* event in 2016, with R’du temps Bliniere, resulted in a wonderful double clear. He has also experienced a double clear at the Burghley International 5* horse trials in 2018 with Tahina des Isles.  Camille has also been a member of the French Team resulting in multiple Nations Cup podium finishes. Beyond all the prizes and podium placings, Camille’s horsemanship, his true love for horses and his hard work to make his best as a professional and an athlete make of him a rider for the long term.
