By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
- Promotion Overview
The Equilume Foal Photo Promotion invites horse owners and breeders to share photos of foals born using Equilume lighting products during the 2026 breeding season. Eligible participants may submit entries by posting images on social media according to the entry requirements outlined below.
At the conclusion of the promotion period, five (5) eligible participants will be selected to receive an Equilume Belfield Light Mask to be used during the 2026 breeding season.
This promotion is intended to celebrate the Equilume breeding community and showcase foals born with the support of Equilume lighting programs.
- Promotion Period
The promotion begins upon the publication of the official social media post and closes at 11:59 PM (local time) on June 1, 2026.
Entries submitted after this date will not be eligible.
- Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals who meet all the following criteria:
Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Must own or have permission to submit photos of the foal(s) entered.
Must reside in the Northern Hemisphere, as qualifying foals must be born between January 1, 2026 and June 1, 2026, aligning with the Northern Hemisphere breeding season.
Participants must have used an Equilume Light Mask to help prep the mare that conceived the foal, or used the light mask on the pregnant mare before the foal was born.
Participants must have a valid public social media account on the platform where the promotion is hosted.
Employees of Equilume, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and distributors may not be eligible to participate.
Equilume reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any participant who does not meet the eligibility requirements.
- How to Enter
To participate in the promotion, entrants must complete all of the following steps during the promotion period:
Like the official Equilume social media page.
Share the official promotion post to their own social media feed or story.
Post a photograph of an Equilume foal on their own page or profile.
Tag Equilume in the post.
Include the hashtag #EquilumeFoals in the caption.
Each individual foal photo submitted counts as one (1) entry.
Multiple entries are permitted provided that each entry represents a different foal that meets the eligibility criteria.
Foals born earlier in the 2026 foaling season (prior to the promotion announcement) are eligible to be entered, provided they fall within the qualifying birth date range.
Accounts must remain public during the promotion period in order for entries to be visible and verified.
- Prize
Five (5) participants will be selected to receive:
One (1) Equilume Belfield Light Mask
Prize conditions:
The prize is intended for use for the 2026-2027 breeding season only. It is recommended to apply the Belfield Light Mask by December 1st 2026, and no earlier than November 15th 2026, for maximum results. The Belfield Light Mask is designed to advance ovulation in the mare, to prepare for early breeding.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash or substitution, except at the sole discretion of Equilume.
Equilume reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if necessary.
Shipping arrangements will be coordinated directly with selected participants.
Equilume is not responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes that may apply to prize delivery.
- Selection of Participants
Five (5) eligible participants will be selected from the pool of valid entries following the close of the promotion period.
Selection may be based on criteria including but not limited to:
- Photo quality
- Creativity
- Representation of Equilume foals
- Engagement with the promotion
Selected participants will be contacted via social media direct message.
If a selected participant does not respond within seven (7) days, Equilume reserves the right to select an alternate participant.
- Photo Rights & Content Usage
By submitting a photo as part of the promotion, entrants grant Equilume a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute the submitted images for marketing, promotional, educational, and social media purposes.
Entrants confirm that:
- They are the owner of the photo or have permission from the photographer.
- The photo does not infringe on any third-party rights.
- Any individuals identifiable in the photo have granted permission for the image to be used.
- Entrants retain ownership of their submitted images.
- Social Media Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform on which it may appear.
By participating, entrants acknowledge that they are providing information to Equilume and not to the social media platform.
Participants release the platform from any liability related to this promotion.
- Disqualification
Equilume reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:
Submits false or misleading information
Violates these Terms & Conditions
Uses automated or fraudulent entry methods
Submits inappropriate or offensive content
Equilume’s decisions regarding eligibility and entry validity are final and binding.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Equilume shall not be liable for:
- Technical failures or social media platform outages
- Lost, late, or incomplete entries
- Unauthorized human intervention
- Errors in the administration of the promotion
- Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the promotion or use of the prize
Participants assume all responsibility for participation in the promotion.
- Modification or Cancellation
Equilume reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the promotion at any time if circumstances beyond its control compromise the integrity or fairness of the promotion.

By entering this promotion, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
