Irish Times InterTradeIreland Innovation Awards (2014)

The Irish Times InterTradeIreland Innovation Awards showcase and reward excellence in Irish innovation. Shortlisted and awarded winners span a wide range of innovation excellence, including breakthroughs in drug delivery systems, network switching, anti-allergy pillows and low cost wastewater aeration. Equilume is immensely proud to have been a top-three finalist in the bioscience category in the 2014 awards.

Salon du Cheval de Paris (2013)

Salon du Cheval is the largest horse event in France, held annually. It features a wide range of continuing education possibilities, competition, entertainment and shopping. Equilume was delighted to be an innovation winner the first year exhibiting at this show.

Enterprise Ireland (2012)

Enterprise Ireland is the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. EI works in partnership with Irish enterprises to help them start, grow, innovate and win export sales in global markets. One way in which it supports sustainable economic growth, regional development and secure employment is to help “spin-out” companies, such as Equilume, that arise from university research. Equilume was honored to be their 2012 “One to Watch” winner.

Newbridge 200 (2012)

Newbridge, in County Kildare, celebrated its bicentenary in 2012. As part of the celebration, Newbridge 200 hosted a series of awards to demonstrate both the past and the future of the region. Equilume was awarded first place in the Newbridge 200 Business Start-Up Competition.

NovaUCD Innovation Awards (2011)

University College Dublin offers a comprehensive business support programme to client companies through NovaUCD. This comprises of advice, seminars and workshops as well as facilitated access to the NovaUCD network of researchers, business leaders and investors. Equilume was a NovaUCD Start-Up Award finalist in 2011.

Women Mean Business Awards (2011 & 2017)

Women Mean Business is an Irish organization promoting the contribution of women in business. Each year they hold awards in six categories, presented to a woman who has contributed to the success of her company. Equilume was shortlisted for the Women in Technology Award for innovation, leadership and demonstrates aptitude and passion in the technology field.

National Ploughing Association & Enterprise Ireland Innovation Awards 2017

Enterprise Ireland host Innovation Awards each year during the National Ploughing Championships. Equilume won two awards in 2017 for the Bovine Light Mask. Award winning categories:
